Maybe this already bugged other people, so I’m posting it here. If you are having problems getting the PC Suite to run properly – maybe you want to get the latest firmware update or whatever, which is not possible for Linux users in a native way – it may be an error related to USB permissions, at least if it’s a connection error. Just adjust the permissions regarding /proc/bus/usb (recursively) and you will be fine.
